Catholic youth group for rounders and a barbecue amazing success

Our Catholic Social group met up on Saturday for a very enjoyable afternoon indeed. A game of rounders in Prospect park with 7 aside followed by a huge slap-up Barbecue, the food was fantastic! Hot dogs, burgers, curried chicken, salad, you name it! There was even Ice-cream offered at the end, though there were grumbles from the Lenten fasters! All-in-all the evening was a massive success and won't be forgotten quickly.

As this week is Holy week, we thought it best to have something low key on Saturday, so for those who would like there is an opportunity for a walk, perhaps a picnic if the weather is right. So far, Mapledurham, the Ridgeway and the Sonning-Henley Thames path have been suggested. Please get in touch if you are interested in joining us. Our email address is the same as our blog address just minus the and put!

Events for the future, in a fortnights time there is a tentative Guitar-Hero (karaoke) night hopefully at Tony's place. There is also the idea of a Cultural night, where we all bring a little cuisine from foreign places. And there was huge support for a proper sports day with picnic at midday and barbecue afterwards. Any more ideas are most welcome!
